Personnel from Naval Group Australia will be attending the State Governments career exposition, JOBEX, this Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th of November at the Adelaide Convention Centre to discuss the exciting career pathways available in the Future Submarine Program.
The Future Submarine Program will be the largest in Australia’s history and is a truly national endeavor that will create employment for many generations of Australians for decades.
Currently Naval Group Australia has approximately 70 staff working on the Future Submarine Program at the Adelaide headquarters. By 2028-29 Naval Group Australia will have approximately 1,500 employees based in Adelaide who will be employed in a variety of exciting career paths including trades, engineers and technicians and corporate support services.
JOBEX will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear directly from our Engineers and corporate support services staff in regards to how they can become involved in this exciting, new project from its infancy.
The program will provide a challenging opportunity for individuals who are looking to grow professionally and work alongside some of the best technical minds from France and Australia, during the design and build of Australia’s next generation of submarines.
Whilst previous work experience within the Defence industry will be of value, we are predominately seeking individuals who are passionate, enthusiastic and driven to work on the program.
JOBEX is South Australia’s largest free employment and career exhibition, showcasing career pathways and job opportunities in emerging industries.
You will find Naval Group Australia within the Defence and Shipbuilding area at JOBEX. Register here to attend.
