NAVAL GROUP AT PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL MARITIME EXPO 2019

PACIFIC 2019, the biennial Pacific International Maritime Exposition, will be held in Sydney from Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 October 2019.

As the only comprehensive international exhibition of its kind in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, PACIFIC 2019 will again provide the essential showcase for commercial maritime and naval defence industries to promote their capabilities to decision-makers from around the world.

Naval Group is proud once again to attend this event, and will be represented by delegates from both France and Australia.

Suppliers will also have the opportunity to book meetings with representatives of Naval Group Australia’s procurement team, and attendees will hear multiple announceables regarding The Future Submarine Program and how we are bolstering Australian Industry Capability.

It’s a win-win situation – we benefit from the talent and local knowledge of these highly skilled individuals, and in return, we give back to local industry, indirectly creating jobs and stimulating business. We even upskill our suppliers so they can provide the ongoing services the project demands.

Naval Group Australia has already begun working with the local defence industry. In partnership with the Department of Defence and Lockheed Martin Australia we conducted industry briefings in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart, Pacific 2017 Maritime Conference and Darwin.

We’ll continue to engage with Australian industry throughout the design, construction and sustainment phases of the Future Submarine Program.
